DEPIRC provides resources and expertise to Title I schools to help them create and implement effective parental involvement policies and school-parent compacts. Support is also provided to help schools and districts maintain compliance with federal parental involvement requirements.
Early Childhood Parent Education
In partnership with the Parents as Teachers program, DEPIRC provides parents of 3-5 year olds with the information and skills they need to prepare their children and themselves for school.
In partnership with The Rodel Foundation, DEPIRC provides opportunities for parents to attend the Delaware Parent Leadership Institute where they will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to play an active role in the academic success of their child and their child’s school.
